It will be interesting to see what happens. I've been interested in Austrian economics long before I knew anything about Ron Paul. You know, I didn't ever think I'd get to see someone on the Tonight Show discussing Austrian economics. (This happened the other day when Ron Paul appeared as a guest.) Incredible. Awesome. In my book, Paul has already accomplished a lot. He has my support, 100%, even if I don't agree with him on every issue. I hope he goes much further. You might be right. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Two of the issues that will turn a lot of people away from him are abortion and his desire to dismantle federal funding for public education. Right now all people are hearing is "bring the troops home now!" but later they will be cringing as they hear Paul explain his stance on things like medicare.
