iPhone — Internet browser is kanji ready!

According to uberpulse the iPhone already has the ability to read kanji in its browser. However, you’ll have to wait till next year if you want to use it in Japan!

It’s just using Safari as a browser, right? Kanji display never should have been a question…

I guess what’s a question depends on how much you already know … I do think iPhone uses Safari, but I don’t know if its an identical browser to the one that is installed with OS X. I haven’t really haven’t looked into iPhone much. It looks cool though.

It’s not actually totally identical to the version that runs on a mac, since it doesn’t support flash (yet). Apparently Apple wants to write their own plug-ins for it, which is interesting.
But the versions Steve Jobs held in press conferences appeared to be showing flash content, so maybe he has a special one…
