Apparently Apple wants to write their own plug-ins for it, which is interesting. But the versions Steve Jobs held in press conferences appeared to be showing flash content, so maybe he has a special one... I do think iPhone uses Safari, but I don't know if its an identical browser to the one that is installed with OS X. I haven't really haven't looked into iPhone much. It looks cool though.
