Recently, I’ve been giving news in the morning with small commentary, I am no longer going to do this. Instead I plan to do the following:

• Post more frequently. If I see a story that is amusing or interesting, I’m going to post it. If it’s from a blog, then I’ll post a small selection and a link. This might vastly increase the number of posts, I hope this won’t distract people.
• There are always several developing stories that I am watching, and it is these stories that are most important to me. Examples would be the pension fiasco, Comsn, Nova, Chongyron and so on. For each one of these stories I’m going to open one entry and one entry only. Then I’ll work to update that entry every morning as the story develops.

I’ll try this for a while and see how that works. If you’d like to offer me a suggestion, such as to not post pictures of robots or something, please comment! I’ll try not to bark back.

I am changing the name of this blog from “Japan in amber” to “Liberal Japan.”

This will have no effect on any links people have set up to this blog.
