Plans for this blog
Posted by Matt Dioguardi on June 18th, 2007
Thank you to every who has been following this blog. Also thank you to everyone who has taken the time out to comment at one point or another.
Recently, I’ve been giving news in the morning with small commentary, I am no longer going to do this. Instead I plan to do the following:
- Post more frequently. If I see a story that is amusing or interesting, I’m going to post it. If it’s from a blog, then I’ll post a small selection and a link. This might vastly increase the number of posts, I hope this won’t distract people.
- There are always several developing stories that I am watching, and it is these stories that are most important to me. Examples would be the pension fiasco, Comsn, Nova, Chongyron and so on. For each one of these stories I’m going to open one entry and one entry only. Then I’ll work to update that entry every morning as the story develops.
I’ll try this for a while and see how that works. If you’d like to offer me a suggestion, such as to not post pictures of robots or something, please comment! I’ll try not to bark back.

No suggestions except have fun because the readers usually have fun when you are having fun.

Hi Matt,
The co-Japanese lang. editor for GVO Hanako Tokita is working on a piece about the NOVA scandal with translations of blog entries by Japanese students, if you’re interested in that topic please keep an eye out. Should be up in the next few days.
(Very much enjoy the site, btw, and I do like and use the news updates. But a format change could be good as well.)
